Our Clients Love Our Work! Here’s What Some Have To Say…

“What started off as a discussion about renovating a kitchen and updating a downstairs bathroom turned into an incredible transformation of one of Collingwood’s oldest historic residences. Built in 1862, this downtown structure had “good bones” but was in need of repairs and upgrades. Ian Mulholland worked with me to put together a plan to take the entire home down to the studs and bring it back to life again. From the outside, every effort was taken to preserve the home’s heritage. Inside, the three bedroom home now boasts a complete renovation blending old with new, including all new plumbing, two bathrooms, custom cabinets, electrical, insulation, flooring, staircase, windows, two gas fireplaces, furnace/utility room, and a modern kitchen/family room with granite counter tops, high end appliances, vaulted ceilings, multimedia outlets, security system and plenty of storage. The transformation was incredible, delivered on budget and on time by a craftsman who clearly loves what he does for a living. Ian Mulholland is a master builder with a creative flair that lets him create construction elements that will greatly enhance any renovation project. I strongly recommend using Ian Mulholland for any renovation that may be in your future.” Paul R

“Ian started our first renovation project in 1985, it was a total gut of our family cottage. Great transformation that gave new life to an old cottage. We did a larger renovation in 1997 that was much more involved by jacking up the existing two cottages and connecting them. Ian is very hands on with his crew and choosing material, making the project much better and completed in a timely fashion. We are enjoying our retreat very much and moreso with the renovations. Re-construction seems to be Mulholland Construction’s real strength.” Ray B.

“After bringing my Family to Canada from South Africa 32 years ago, it has been a real pleasure to work with pretty much the whole Mulholland family. From Ian’s mother Cathy, finding the Heritage Home we still live in to this day, to Ian and at times his Father Jim ,working over a period of time on pretty much every corner of this old girl. Ian did an addition with a family room, renovated our kitchen, and gutted the entire 2nd floor. He also constructed a new front porch and completed a major part of our landscaping. Ian was always working side by side with his team which kept things moving along as scheduled.” John
